Do you one better. Here is a link to a site that sells them. They seem to be going up a little, not much but it might be time for me to order them. They install inside your rear coils and the air line can be run anywhere but the most common seems to be the rear license plate. You can get an onboard air compressor but then that is another couple hundred bucks.

PS I am moving back to NH in the Spring so I know what you mean about getting the front bumper up out of the snow.

The leveling kit is 2.5 inches, the Mopar lifts are all made my Superlift. They also make struts, Bilstien makes them, that will raise the front anywhere from 0-2.8 inches. There have been a lot of issue's with them from what I have read. They seem to bring on the "death wobble". As for shock's he is probably talking about the Bilstien as well. I can't see the thread becasue they don't allow you to post link's to other threads. Hope this answered some of your questions.

So in other words, I should stay away from a lift such as this:

Thanks guys for quick posts. I am just getting a little worried now that I found out the mopar lift is actually raising it 2.5 inches, now i definitely fear having no rake:/ I use my truck often enough that I don't want it sagging without even a load in it .

I would stay away from that lift. I know there was a couple of guys on here that had it and ended up taking it out. As for the leveling kit you have, I was worried about it to, I only wanted to do 1.5 because that is all I though it needed. After putting it on I am very happy with it. I to use the back of my truck a lot for "junk" and it never showed.

Here are a couple of pictures of mine after the lift with the BFG's

Wow, that looks fantastic my friend! Love the tire choice, looks great on the OEM wheels too. Very nice. Here is my truck now, I definitely think it would benefit from a lift like yours.

Here is mine, this is a month old pic when I was still waiting on my center caps to come in.

Thanks, to be honest I was going for the stock 2500 look when I did it. I like the look that confuses people. I like the color of your truck, my wife has a Commander and it is the same color. If I wasn't such a white and chrome fan I would have gotten the gray. Don't worry about the lift. Put it on and enjoy. I get compliment's all the time, plus your dealership is giving you a good price on the install. I paid more then that for my install. I have to admit though I am looking at a 4 inch kit from either BDS or the Mopar one. My truck already has 20k on it so it won't be long and all I will have left of my warranty is the powertrain. I would like to run 35's and I like the new kits that are out there.

Thanks man. I know, its sort of a vicious curse once you start modifying a vehicle, because suddenly it no longer is the manufactures truck, but your very own creation, so you start changing every little thing that best reflects your taste. But I think what ever you decide to do, it will look great. If I was you personally, I'd be stoked with the set up you got. You haven't compromised the usability nor integrity of your truck, the gear ratios still line up and its a stout looking monster. I love it.

Thanks again. So when are you putting the kit on your truck? Do you have your tires already?

I have a 2WD, but what I want to know is how could a 2" level tear up the CV joints? I mean, that sucks.....

It changes the angle of the CV Joint. My guess is they didn't leave a whole lot of room for a big change when they engineered the CV Joint's. What is weird is some people have the issue and some don't. It seems as if the Laramie's had the biggest issue. Of course the 4wd version of what you have already has a 1 inch lift on it. So none of this applies the the 4wd TRX.
