Bought my First Dodge
Hey Guys.
Due to my work I end up with a new truck fairly often. Currently I have some Toyotas and I traded a Chev in on a new 2011 5.7L Ram SLT Quad 4x4.
I only have about 650 miles on the truck but so far everything is great.
I put Weathertech liners in front and mats in the back. Other than that the truck is bone stock. If there are any other must do/should do minor stuff I'd love to hear about it.
Looking forward to becoming part of the Dodge community.

Sorry to hear that
I`ve had (2) brand new 2010 rams, sold the first one due to too many issues with it,
now the 2nd new ram is becoming a problem child at 15,000 miles. One problem right after another.
I wont buy a 3rd ram, i`m done with dodge, but i wish you the best with yours

You'll find these trucks are hit and miss. Like most trucks I'm sure. Some people have all kinds of problems, and some people have had no problems. I have an 09 and the only thing I've ever had happen was my 4x4 module got a little squirrelly on me. Took to the dealership, they reset it or something and I haven't had an issues since. a little over 30,000 miles so far. I love my truck.
No issues for me either. My truck is my passion!I'm not one to show favoritism more for one, than the other, but I have had consistant good luck with dodge trucks.People might as well face it,if you drive one,at some point, you will have to work on it.That is just facts of life!
Wish you the best on your new truck.
I bought my first dodge ram last year and has a had problem that dealers can't fix.
I also currently own a 2010 titan, had own some chevys, titans, and never had a problem until my current 2009 dodge ram.
going thru other threads and found some other owners having same problems.
Hope dodge finds out what it is.
It sounds like a hit and miss with these trucks. Other trucks with my experience aren't hits and misses.
