spark plug replacement question

yup 50,000 km is the sugested change intervile on the hemi Ram, all 16 sparkys, I can't speak for the new gen trucks, but a 06 hemi sparky change is great fun.
Oem plugs on my 06 are champions, copper, as far as I know copper plugs are still standard issue on the hemi, now to throw some oil on the fire, SRT hemi engines run platt plugs and the rule of thumb is to stick with crapp copper plugs, on the 06 hemis I know guys who use platt plugs and have no issues ( trucks are off warenty )
To keep your warrenty, you have to run copper plugs, Im convinced platt plugs will not harm a hemi, all thow in Canada, we pay a lot for platt plugs.

My wife does the couponing thing here, does nothing for the grocery bill, she does it over there (US) she spends 100 bucks comes home with 500 in goods easy and she is just starting into this.

Just changed mine at 45,000 km and the originals showed little wear and were almost all at the proper gap. I wouldn't want to leave them too much longer in case they seize, but does seem like a bit of a waste. I was told by the stealership that they are required at 50.000 km and I don't want to mess with the warranty. Although I did it myself in just over three hours taking my time, I should've looked up the DIY on this forum as it's a good writeup.

I can tell you that stock spark plug gap is 1.09mm. When I removed my spark plugs at 30,000 miles. The spark plug gap ranged from 1.18mm-1.20mm. It my eyes is was a total waste of my time and money.
When I installed the new OEM spark plugs, I gapped them at 1.00mm and will not look at them for 60,000 miles now.

and like you after inspecting the plugs I would have went longer without issue.
My plan for the 35K was I am getting a new truck @ 100K. If I changed every 30 I would have to do it three times, at 35K now I only will be doing it twice. I will probably go a little longer this time as well. Maybe run it to 75 or 80, or 40-45K miles on the set.
