Default Hemi programers

I have a 09 that I bought used and I was looking to get a programer but I wanted some input so I didn't buy a crapy one. I would like one the gives me power when I want it and fuel economy the rest of the time. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If u are buying for performance go for it. If you are buying for mpgs do not bother, pay back will take a while.

I like my sc with custom shift schedule.

Most people I know don't get better mileage after they get a programmer, mostly because they can't keep their foot off the floor. A lot of people like the Diablo Sports but they don't have the capabilities of changing any shift patterns. Each forum seems to have their favorite programmer. You might also think about any negative warranty problems--some programmers leave a footprint and others say they don't.

I have a Diablo Predator and a Hypertech Econ and in my opinion they are both ****. The reason I say that is these companies dont know how to tune the tranny for the MDS. The Predator surges in and out of MDS and it pings all the time when you accelerate at low speeds. They say the update the croms but it never seems right to me.

The Hypertech does a little better with the surging but not much. I have 37xxx miles on my truck with and it gets about the same gas milage stock with 89 octane as it does with the economy tunes without all the problems. If you are just looking for performance the Predator 93 tune is good if you can handle all the other crap that comes with it.

Don't know about the other ones but the superchips lets you turn off the MDS.

I haven't tried the others but have liked the SC since it's a noticeable boost, I can turn off mds & adjust for tire size.

I could help with your predator. Its easy to make sure mds is off and if you hook the predator up to a laptop and log specific sensor info its a simple task (although somewhat time consuming) to adjust the f/a mixture for different rpm ranges to eliminate the pinging.

You can go to the predator forums and find detailed write ups on how to resolve you issues.

Good Luck
Lee

Did I read that there isn't a programmer yet for the 2011?
