Where did you find the 3" lift? I did a 2" TRUXX leveling kit and would like a tad bit more height. My truck is a daily driver that see's a bit of mild off-road so no need for anything too serious.

I just took it the way it was
I found out today about the RAM RUNNER, and the RAM POWER WAGON concepts, and that all parts could be ordered separately which is great
I'll pay the dealer a visit next week and ask about the R/T torque converter issue, but I don't believe that I'll be convinced about their answer, as real off road pros cannot be found here, and I should rely either on Internet, or try the hard way which is trial and error )
Even in the MOPAR site, you just can't find all the necessary info to get your order done safely...I found most of the RAM RUNNER stage 2 parts, but none related to stage 1...Stage 2 offers 14" of wheel travel that I will rarely need, as most of my off road trip are either under heavy snow, or deep mud, rock climbing and 150mph jumps are not on the agenda )
Many thanks guys, and keep the tech info flowing
Whats a shame, is YOUUUU believed the salesman into tricking you into buying the only truck available on THEIR lot...??? REALLY...??? That happened because they wanted to dump it on you to get rid of it. They pay alot of intrest for every vehicle sitting on their lots. Thats why today its this price, 2 weeks later its another price. Firther more, the dealer can pull any vehicle you want from any dealer that has the one you want. Some charge extra to do this depending on where the vehicle is that you want. Most wont charge you for it, they`ll just dealer trade the one they have for the one you want, most of the time. Some dealers are very greedy when doing this, so buyer beware.
1st Rule: NEVER BELIEVE A CAR SALESMAN...!!! (Thats why we call them 'STEALERSHIPS')
2nd Rule: Ther are thousands of trucks available. These trucks arent selling right now, nobody has jobs or money, so the pickin`s are pretty decent right now, and so aren`t the prices for them. My moto, "i dont need a truck, but the dealer HAS to SELL a truck"
3rd Rule: NEVER TRUST A STEALERSHIP, they will always tell you what you wanna hear...!
4th Rule: ALWAYS CHECK THE WINDOW STICKERS AGAINST THE VIN NUMBER ON THE TRUCK..!
5th Rule: NEVER EVER AGREE TO THEIR FIRST PRICE, because you can buy it cheaper somewhere else.
6th Rule: Cheaper isnt always better, service AFTER the sale is whats important...!
7th Rule: Go over the contract during the sale several times until you`re satisfied BEFORE signing on the dotted line.
8th Rule: Be happy with your purchase, buyer`s remorse is a real bitch...!

Anywhoooooooooo......
As for "off road pro`s" cant be found here...???
Well if you`re not finding what you`re looking for in here, then keep searching other forums until you do. I`m sure ther`s some knowedgable people in here, its just that most dont live in here everyday. Give the site some time for people to chime in and help you. Ther ARE some good guys that can probably help you here.

Dont know if this will help you or not, but here is an index to some pro truck sites on the internet

Ouffff, you must'ved experienced lots of sales disappointments, just like most of us I suppose
Unfortunately I'm no where near the USA, and where I live, this was the only truck available, and I was "closely"watching it for months...
Trucks are bought over here for construction sites, and they mostly go for the cheaper Toyota that also have a strong reputation of "The Unbreakable".
I wanted badly a Rugged Ram for outdoor use, but what can we do, here I am
When I said real 4x4 pros can't be found here, I meant in the place I live in, and I didn't mean on this web site
I am sure that there are thousands of "dormant" pros in here
One thing is sure, I wanna do it right, and hopefully before winter starts
Many thanks bro,

Not a bad choice, as long as you wanna beat on the truck i guess...
but in my opinion, i wouldnt want a higher stall speed TQ for a daily driver if you plan on it being your daily driver as well.
It has a little higher stall speed, but puts more power to the ground so it should be more efficient as well.

Default torque convertor

as i said i would give you all a report. i picked up the truck this morning and believe it or not it is 99.9 improved no more rattle, vibration, mds comes on quicker stays on with light acceleration all the way from 25 mph to 45 mph,no vibration at 70mph. mileage on the lie-o-meter has never gone over 19.5 at 70 all of a sudden i'm up to 22.4 on a flat florida interstate.

Don't let anybody at the dealerships or chrysler tell you there is nothing wrong,BULLS***T mine is a prime example of what perserverance can do.tell them to look up the star case from june 2011 and read it.

Time will tell BigAl, time will tell, if that really does fix it. I`ve talked to others and they had a new TQ and the noise did come back.
Is ther anyplace we can get the exact info on this "StarCase" thing...? I`m still not clear on what you`re talking about when you say "StarCase"

I`m still kinda biased about that, more slippage hurts economy, so i dont see where it can be more efficient.
