Default electrical issues

Hi i just purchased a 2009 quad cab 4x4 with the hemi. I love this truck but fri morningwhen i got in it i didn't have any interior lights after starting it the wipers were going full blast with the switch off and everything was dead on the stearing wheel. No turn signals or anything. After a few miles down te oad it all came back on. Took it in to the dealer and it was doing the same thing till they got in it they checked it out and couldn' find the problem. They are telling me it will have to be doing it when they have it to find it. Anyone out there have the same thing anytime????

Take the top off the TIPM and make sure all of the cable connectors are still locked down.

I`m not saying this is "your" electrical problem...
BUT i had a couple 2010 hemi trucks here that had some funky electical issues. Check the ground connections where they bolt up to the inner fender (under the hood) I had 2 trucks that were corroded at the inner fender grounding locations. Ther is one located just up the drivers side inner fender, the other one is on the passengers side almost up to the firewall area. I fixed both of mine by removing the ground connector(s) then wire brush really good, wire brushed the body connection, then re-attached, sprayed some red battery grease over top of both when done. Havent had a problem since, and that was a yr ago.

both suggestions are dead on. It seems TIPM related caused by either loose connectors or bad grounds. Right now if everything is OK, then you have a choice to do nothing or go ahead and do some troubleshooting, it's just that you won't know if you fixed something or not. I would go with the grounds first, nothing works right if you don't have good grounds. MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE ON THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! WAIT 10-15 MINUTES FOR THE CIRCUITS TO DISCHARGE!. If you want to figure out what's going on, do the grounds and visually inspect the TIPM connectors, unless there is something obvious with the connectors leave them alone (less risk of braking something). When you are done with the grounds, just drive it to see if you ever have the problem again, if not, then you are done. If the problem comes back and you know you have good grounds, again disconnect the battery and wait 10-15 minutes for the circuits to discharge, then one by one, disconnect the TIPM connectors and inspect for damaged sockets or pins and reconnect them. If this doesn't fix the problem, next time it is happening, open the hood and wiggle the harnesses to the TIPM while running to see if you can isolate the source. Good luck

there is a brake booster and a after market back up camera that the previous owner put on the truck. It is still under the factory warranty so i will relay all this info to the dealer. It is only doing it whe it gets below freezing and it sits overnight. Sounds to me like something is barley getting conection and when it contracts from the cold i have my problem then when it warms a little it goes away

I`m pretty sure he mean`t brake controller and not a booster. Some people do think of them as the same, as they both share some principal, hence, boost brakeing effect.
