You can say that again. The stock headlamps on mine were absolutely horrid. I bet there were 80's cars and trucks that had brighter headlamps than mine did coming out of the factory.

not only horrid but aimed way to low from the factory as well...I don't know why they don't just make it a standard option in ALL new vehicles on the road these days. The technology for them has come a long way and there not nearly as expensive as they used to be...

FWIW

I had almost the exact same issue, truck was just going on 1 1-2 years old. Dealer called and said "Don't have a heart attack, but something chewed through your wires"..I went up there because i did not believe it, and sure enough i found a god damn nest right by my FREKIN Main harness that goes in to the cabin through the firewall. IT was not covered by the warranty obviously, and even after they took care of my with costs (Service manager is a friend) it still ran $321. They had to cut, re-splice, solder, and heat shrink almost every wire...

Well, I don't seem to have that problem now that I have aimed to shoot at any and all squirrels that come onto my property...

Had a similar problem on my 2012 RAM 1500 Sport 5.7L. The signal lights, windshield washer, and high beams would not work at all, and the windshield wipers were stuck on and would not turn off. Disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes fixed the problem. Thanks so much for the tip!

I am experiencing the same problem with my truck at the moment. Still trying to find the problem. When I connect the battery terminal there is a small spark which worries me; is this normal as I do not remember seeing it prior to this issue.
