Just a question, for those who have increased bulb size. Have you calculated/checked if the wiring, fuse, and relays, are rated for the additional load you are putting on them? Wiring size should be visible on the wire itself, and the fuse and relays will also be labelled.

If it isnt blowing the OEM stock fuse`s, where`s the problem.
If you`re scared, install a lower rated fuse to see if it will blow or not. (lol)

(4th Gen OEM only) (9005/65watts vs oem 9145/42watt)
For those that want brighter fog lights, the 9005 hi-beam bulbs will work in the stock fog light housings.
The wiring connector on the fog lights are the same connector as the 9005 bulbs.

I would mikey buddy, but the glare is what i was concerned about by just plugging the HID bulb straight into the stock fog housing. Is that how you have yours installed, just straight up hid bulbs...???.... or did you install projectors in your fog housings. I know you an i had talked about this before, but i just dont remember what you told me. (see what happens when you`re older than dirt...lol)

I have them just in the housings in my fogs... My headlights have projectors. But I don't use my fogs unless I'm on the backroads since the headlights are plenty bright.

(for 09'-12' dont know why they wont fit 13')On ebay for $255 you can get projector head lights and HID's for the dims only. I bought this 6 months ago i got the 8k Hids high and low. There not as big of a pain as everyone makes them out to be, We have installed HIDs on all our farm equipt. I have the slims on the lows, no relays or flicker. Just plugged em in.

Agreed on this. Gen 4 ram fogs glare bad enough to the side with halogen. Let alone a glare monster HID kit. That just screams cheap and ricey.
