Just pulled factory plugs out of my '11 Laramie. They were NGK Platinums. Replaced them with NGKs Iridium offering. Truck runs as smooth as the day it came home. I had 2 plugs in the original set that had gapped out by about .005 over stock spec. Others were all within .002 at 31K miles. I hope I am good for 100K with the Iridiums...changing them was a 3 hour PITA.

You sure the factory plug was Platinum's? They are a 100,000 plug! They would not be due for replacement at 30,000. The nickel standard plug is the 30,000 mile plug. Did you check your owners manual for when to change plugs?

Thanks hounddogg for the heads up on the plugs, I will try the Autolite Iridiums when I'm due.

Just switched to the Autolite Iridiums also, truck is running as good as ever. I got tired of changing the OEM plugs every 30,000 so went with a longer lasting plug.
