I have a 2012 express 1500 crew with no steering wheel controls for stereo. Is there a way to buy them and hook them up?

 

yes u can buy them not sure where maby a wrecker would have one u need to add the wheel and have the pcm flashed with rdz sales code there is extensive info on this from an earlier post titled "added evic cluster to my st ram" if u search for this post u will find all u need to know

One more question. My 2012 express did not come with the optional dash that gives u all the info. I only have one led line of info I have to toggle through. Can I buy a used electronic information control from say a Laramie and have it work in my express ?

 

yes it plugs right in but the horn wont work until u flash the ecu and the the splice found in the the thread i pointed out to u. so there is some tinkering that needs to be done but yes it is possible

I finally added my new evic cluster today. It plugged right in and everything works great (even the horn). No flash needed so far. Only problem I have now not enough buttons on steering wheel to control the electronic information. I can scroll up and down, however I do not have the "enter" button which is an arrow pointing to the left. I ordered the upgraded button group from Dodge Dealer today for about $50. I am hoping it is a simple plug in and play. I will let you know.
I gotta say I am amazed at how easy this was. The dash looks SO much better than the downgraded version with only the one line you scroll through.
I also had Sony aftermarket radio installed and I put in the upper glove box. All works and looks great.

 

Where did you get your new cluster and steering wheel and how much did it cost? Thanks!

 

I searched eBay for speedometer and EVIC. Three came up and I bought one for 180
