What? Sorry man but a Ford V10 just ain't gonna do that. Our old Dodge V8 outpulls our neighbours Ford V10 for less fuel. Talk some sense here...

You ought to post that on the RV sites. Some of those guys would heartily disagree. They LOVE EM. The few I know who have had them liked them a lot. "Motor home owners like them. The OLD Dodge and Ford V10 has been in big demand. Lots of retirees are buying up Ford and Dodge V10s. They can't afford high end diesels. These old and newer V10 trucks are in big demand. I'd rather pull with low rpm linear torque making engine then a V8 that only comes alive after 4000RPM.

My grandpa has a camper with the Ford V10 in it. Gets 4 MPG. has a hard time making hills. Drop a Dodge 360 in and you'd be getting 6-8MPG and have no trouble with hills. Or a Dodge V10 for that matter. And you are incorrect about the V8 coming alive at 4K RPM. That is when power drops sharply on the V8s. 2250-3000RPM is the power band on most dodge V8s.

While I don't agree about how great the V10 is, I will answer your question.
Yes, it is still technically in the Ford lineup but only in the F550, F650, and F750 chassis bodies. The gas motor for the F250 and F350 is the supercharged 6.2L V8 and then, of course, the 6.7L Scorpion Turbodiesel.

So much hate on a 360... But yet they will outlast your Hemi with not even half the problems.. Oh yea and I can run 87 gas and never have to worry about my motor coming apart.. Oh well.. Not gonna argue with someone who thinks their own BS is true..

I don't uderstand how a ford V-10 came up, but its the best sucky Ford engie ever made, sucks flue, sucks towing, pukes spark plugs and I have spent a lot of my work days dring F-350 to f-550 Fords that can not get out of thier own way.

Hands down a hemi in a 2500 with a 6sp man will out haul, out tow and out perform a ford V-10, I much prfer a hemi power train to any Ford ( not sure on the new 5.0 ) and the V-10 still has 3v per cy, left over garbage from the triton name.

Yup thier cheap in motor homes, because Ford can't give them away, for all the issues of booth gen of 6.0 navstar ford diesels, I would take a 6.0 ford diesel over a v10 that needs two extra cylinders just to stay behind my hemi..
