Rear calipers now no brake pedal
Has anyone ever posted when they have fixed their brake bleeding problem.
I just changed 2 rear calipers on a 2010 2500 5.7.
Bled lines till clear fluid. Changed MC. New pads front and back. Truck off great pedal.
Truck on pedal to the floor. Pumping brings it up but goes down to the floor when stopped.
I have seen this same problem on many sites and no one can answer it. I never see a post that says I have fixed it.
Help
Thanks

After doing front pads, backing out of driveway I heard a crunch and pedal went to the floor. Fluid pouring out of back wheel. Caliper piston "plastic" crushed and leaking.
Truck sat in driveway overnight. The next day I backed truck up to back in driveway. I WAS pumping pedal, there was a little braking left.

My brake pedal can be pushed to the floor with enough steady pressure on it. Always has been the case. It's not what I consider 'normal' for a vehicle, but it has always been this way and stopping just fine for 42K+ with no issues I guess I can't argue.

I`ve always had to pump the brake pedal in both my 2010 hemi trucks ever since new, just to get a good firm & high pedal.
I`ve had it even go to the floor a few times during panic stops as well, and i`ve NEVER been impressed with that fact at all.
But like blue edge says, they do stop (eventually...lol) just not real great.

I have had an 04 an05 and now a 2012 as well as many older Dodges and If the brakes are right the pedal will be firm in the same spot EVERY time you hit them. They might be slightly higher or firmer if pumped but only slightly.
