So, reviving this post as I am having the same issue with my 2009. Started with a faulty right headlight. Brought it in and they 'fixed it.' Went out again so I brought it back. Mentioned the TIPM. Tech called me and said it was indeed the TIPM. Worked great after that. 3-4 months later, headlight out again. Brought it back, TIPM AGAIN. 1 week later noticed the headlight is on and off intermittently. Was going to bring it back eventually, but this morning I had no HVAC and the rest like everybody else. Have an appt for Tue, but and so damn aggravated with this. I have a platinum warranty, but that's not the point. It's still REALLY inconvenient having the get the truck to the dealer, and the damn thing should just run. You still here, @DodgeCares?

Well, it's been a year since my TIPM problems, and so far so good.
It has been a very mild winter here, compared to most years.
But with the garage full, the truck has been sitting outside all winter, and other than killing the battery when I left my Ham radio on 'Cross band Repeat' for 3 days during deer season (without starting the truck....duh..)
I have had no problems.
It did take them a few 'rebuilt' TIPMs, (all within the 3 weeks it was in the shop a year ago)
but once they installed a NEW Mopar TIPM, no problems.

I am now experiencing the same symptoms as described in this post. After reading what you guys have gone through, I don't have a high level of confidence that this will be resolved any time soon. I too have an 09 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. It wasn't cold outside (not by our standards) when the symptoms first started. This morning was the first time I have experienced this problem. I finally gave up trying to find a bad fuse and left for work with no heat, wipers, etc. After about 2 miles of driving everything started working normally. Any way to get ahead of it and save my TIPM?

If you're working with your dealership on the concerns you're experiencing, I'm happy to step in or follow up with them. Just let me know.

I have contacted my dealership only to price the cost of repair. $1093 including parts and labor. I'm considering a used TIPM from a salvage truck. Found one locally sold with 60 day warranty for $225. If still needed, the dealership can flash for $87.00.
