Default extreme dust inside the cab

Has anyone had any issues with dust coming inside the cab when driving gravel roads? I have a 2015 ram 1500 and i've had many trucks in the past and by far this is the worst one ever for letting dust inside the cab. I just read about the cabin filter mod that i will probably do but i think there is more that i should do. I had an 09 ford 150 that had the same issue and it was coming in through the vents behind the cab between the box. I had to install filters from the inside to help the cause!! Does this truck have any vents similar to the ford behind the back seat? Where is this truck "sucking" the air from the outside and is there some kind of filter at the end of this? I just want a few pointers as to where i should be looking where this mess is coming in!!! BTW....i always use the recirculate/MAX A/C when i'm on gravel.

Thanks in advance.

This is a software issue that the manufacturer knows about but will not offer a solution until more people complain about it (the dealership told this to my coworker). The rear vents will remain open when recirculate is selected and this creates a back-draft that sucks excessive dust into the cab (he recently bought a new Ram). I have a 2013 Ram but don't know if this affects my truck as I don't use recirculate that often but I am going to test it out when I get the chance. Also cabin vent filters will not work in this case from what I was told.

Default Dust in Cab

Has anyone corrected this problem? Ram customer care doesn't CARE!!! Dealer says the box has to come off to correct this problem.

there are 2 vents in the back of the cab that let the pressure out when you close the doors, they have a rubber flap that is suppose to stay closed but it does not and it just lets dirt in the cab, a filter will do zero good. The box i am referring to is the bed of the truck.

Ok, I can see why they would wanna pull the box to access those...... Question becomes, do they mount from the outside, or the inside??

I have the same problem. We liveWon a gracel road and have had many Dodge Ram trucks as well as Ford and Chevy. This is the only truck I ever had an issue with. Were you able to find a solution?
