Default AC Pro not fitting on 2017 Ram

So I went to buy some AC refrigerant for my wife's Suby. Fit and filled fine. Went to try on my '17 Ram and it would not fit the low side fitting. I know which is which. Looks just like the one on the car but it must be a C hair bigger. Anyone else try AC PRO on a late model truck?
MY ac is sort of cool, but certainly not cold like my '09 was after they fixed the evaporator. Icy cold after.

Check the label for the a/c, and make sure it actually uses R134a.... I think they changed (again) in the not so distant past.

yep, the new refrigerant is r1234yf. the fittings are different. if your under warranty have the dealer fix it. If you contaminate the system by putting in the wrong refrigerant...the dealers new 1234yf machine will not allow any recovery, vacuum or charging of the system so it will not contaminate its tank and lines.

If the system is contaminated, the dealer will refuse to work on the a/c system....and we are instructed the only fix, if r1234 is to be used, is to replace every part of the system.

the joke is that yf stands for your f'ed. the cost of the new refrigerant is outrageous

Why are you not using your warranty if you think you have a problem with the AC?

Not everyone has the time to take a day off but I guess I will have to now. Luckily I did not try to psh the fitting on. It did not fit, so I stopped trying. Figured something changed. Guess I'll go have it looked at. When I get that shifter **** recall fixed and some software issue updated. Lump them all together hopefully. Didn't know they had changed freons again. Good to know. The AcPro fixed my '09 right up. Worked great for years after I used it....Live and learn.

It could also be the newer refrigerant does not cool as well as R-134A? I blame the treehuggers....

Well, my '09 needed an evaporator after 2 years. 28,000 Miles. This truck has only 7500 after a year. I drive my work van most of the time. Trying to keep Mile's down on the truck seeing as it a limited edition.
