2010 ram 5.7 intermittent over heating
I got the codes to delete out of the computer and I got to start fresh. The check engine light came back on for the transmission code so the eco mode isn’t engaging but driving at 40 or so mph and you bring the rpms to 1500 you can feel it stumbling like it’s in eco mode and if you give it a little more gas it comes out of it. So here’s my misfire count per cylinder. The count isn’t high enough for the light to come on yet.

No idea..... I would like to think that if the MDS activates, the "ECO" lite should come on though....... If the lite isn't coming on, I don't think mds is active... but, I am not 100% sure on that.
The eco light doesn’t come on with the check engine light on but it feels like the mds is engaged if I’m doing that 40 mph going up a slight incline you can definitely feel it either misfiring. It’s feels the mds is engaged and it’s only running on those 4 cylinders, but if you give it a little more gas it literally feels like mds shuts off and goes back to 8 cylinders I’m stumped
That would be a question for someone that knows these systems better...... I know driving the shop truck, I can certainly tell when MDS engages..... and the eco light comes on.... I think ours is a 2016, or thereabouts though.
the manual for my 2017 says the the eco light indicates efficient driving and does not mean anything for the MDS state, however i have never seen it on without feeling like MDS is active . . . .
