Default TPMS need info plz

88K miles on a 2010 Ram 1500 5.7 quad cab SLT Time for 4 new tires & 4 Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors . I need to know everything!. I've been looking for a day now as to how & what is done, I'm not clear. . Will any of the NEW sensors learn automatically? do aftermarket ones learn automatically? I'm looking at a REPLACEMENT part ,made by STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS # TPM197RA that is Pre-programmed at the factory with exact OE protocol, so it’s ready to be installed and OE-relearned out of the box. I need them to be "ready" cuz tire shop I go to don't program. Thank you all in advance for the info, I need to get this going & be prepared for the tire shop doing the install THANKS !

I have the 2009 Ram 1500 5.7 liter Big Horn.
My TPMS indicator light is on. I checked all 4 tires and the pressure was perfect. Since we have no reset switch, I disconnected the battery as indicated by my internet searches.
That did no good and the light is still on.
I guess I need the sensor? Where is it located and if anyone has a part number I would appreciate it. TIA

If you know someone at the dealership they can use the tire pressure monitor tool to fine the bad sensor or to program the sensors.

So my truck has individual sensors inside each wheel? Since my vehicle does not indicate which tire is low on pressure I assumed there was just one pressure sensor module under the hood? Or is there a module under the hood and one sensor for each tire? I have found instructions to replace each (4) wheel sensor and (1) under the hood sensor module.
And I need someone from Dodge to program the sensors? I am half temped to just forget about it. Or find a way to turn the light off in the instrument cluster.
Thanks in Advance
John

TPMS 56029481AB Tire Pressure Sensor Monitoring 4PCS 433MHz For Dodge Ram Jeep

Search that on ebay I put a set into each of my stock wheels and aftermarket wheels,, both have worked great for almost 3 years so far. NO DEALER needed as the ram will auto learn the sensors in a short drive after you install them They do change from different years but from what i know there is only 2 frequencies they use. Plus its a full 1 piece rubber valve so none ov that leaking between valve and monitor from rusting,,, best part they are cheap compared to dealers

Yep Dodge wants $102 per sensor and $164 for labor. There are so many products online its very hard to decide which are good ones and which are not so good. Any suggestions? Thanks John

Get the dodge sensors, and have them installed at a tire shop? (MUCH cheaper than the dealer.....)

And a lot of that crap is now MANDATED by the Fed.

Seems the government thinks people are too stupid to notice a low tire......

Blame Ford and Bridgestone for the explorer tire blowout debacle. They each blamed the other and we all ended up with mandatory TPMS sensors because people were in fact, too stupid to notice low tires.
