No crank no start

Default No crank no start

Needing help with a no crank no start on a 2009 dodge ram 1500 after new cam and lifters. Key turns everything on and clicks in start position security red dot flashes when in run position

Need to reset security. Might be a procedure for that in the owners manual.

could that be why it is also throwing codes for no communication with pcm

Have you checked the fuses for any that are blown? Maybe through the process of reassembly a wire got pinched causing a fuse to blow and the PCM or a critical module/sensor to not get power and therefore you're getting a no start condition.

Yes checked all fuses and they are good.

Have you checked to see if you are getting voltage to the starter solenoid? Are there any other things that you have checked that were not mentioned above so we don't keep offering suggestions only to have you reply that you've already checked that or that it might be related to a code that you're also getting?

have checked all fuses and relays. Not getting power to exciter wire on starter. It has codes for no pcm communication and a can bus C code.

Figure out the no communication first. I don't think that would be a product of the security system...... Just the other way around I should think.
