I just talked to my neighbor who owns the Dodge Dealership here in town, he is who I bought the truck from, I asked him could it sell for what I needed for it, 27,000, and he said it definitly would, he said he can make me lil profit out of it also. He said he is still selling trucks on his lot, new and used. With my truck being a lil different than most rams he said it should sell quick. Hopefully it will. Where I live everybody drives trucks, regardless of gas prices. So im parking it on his lot tomorrow. Hopefully it will sell. I dont want any one to get me wrong, I love my truck, it took a year of planning and saving to get it. But under the circumstance I have to sell it.

 

I'm not going to say anymore than good luck, I'm also in your area, I do know what something like your truck is going for. As a buyer I wouldn't touch it b/c of the loss of the powertrain warranty. Also I got a quote from my local dealership on a Mega Cab 2500 Diesel for right at 30k out the door, Inferno Red, Running Boards, Remote Start, and Nav package... That's at a dealership in Greenwood, SC. Not sure on a Quad Cab Hemi as I wasn't looking for one, but they're probably around 4-6k less... I would be driving a Mega right now if I wasn't going to be taking such a hit on my 07 Hemi..

 

Your buddy might...and I mean might be able to sell the truck for 27k but he sure as heck is not going to give you near 27k for the truck because he will make a profit.

There are 22 new Rams on ebay located within 50 miles of your location for 25k or less, with the lifetime powertrain warranty. And 6 for 26kso good luck....

 

Just to help, here is the blue book on your truck for your zip code. Dealers pay auction prices which are usually 20% less than low blue book.

And for anyone that's gonna buy it remember delivery fees from shipping companies are paid once merch is delivered and the buyer should set up the delivery not the seller. This way the seller can't say well I'll ship it to you and then you can pay me, but all I ask is for the shipping to be paid up front here's my paypal account.

 

Nada is what they use, according to Shreveports Dodge dealer today...I was kinda looking into trading mine in and driving my volvo until the 09's come out, but my dealership had new QC's with the 4.7 (not stripped down either) for 14,000! that, of course, isnt with the 0% or the 2.99 gas, but still...cummon now!
BTW,I got my truck 3 days before they introduced the lifetime, and called up to the Dodge HQ, they sent me a brochure in the mail giving my transferrable lifetime, extra year on my bumper2bumper, and some mopar cash...
