Sticker price was 42,000, i got the truck for 27,000. I owe on it now 26,000. I have two other vehicles that get good gas mileage, but thats not the issue. Gas is not a factor at all in this. I bought the truck as a show truck and was going to do alot of mods to it. But now I am having to focus on buying a house or at least rent a apartment. Cant afford the truck and a house/apt. From around here where I live trucks are still selling pretty well. I believe (I hope) I will be able to sell it for atleast 26,000.

Dropped offthe truck atthe dealership yesterday to see if it will sell. Hope that it will. I was looking at trucks while I was there to see what the prices were, and there at the lot they are still selling for over 33,000. And also while I was there 2 brand new trucks similar to mine were in the process of selling, I talked to both of those customers trying to convince them to buy mine but they were wanting a brand new truck and not a used. So trucks are still selling good around here, I believe mine is going to sell with no prob (hopefully). Ill let ya know!

In an earlier post you said the dealer was your neighbor and doing you a favor selling your truck for you. Nothing is going to **** a dealer off morethansomeoneinterfering withan active sale going on by trying to push their vehicle on the customer. That is avery quick way to end the "hook up" your dealer is doing for you.If you were at the dealer looking for a new truck you would want new also. Lifetime is a big word when it comes to warranty.
Just because the dealer tells you thattrucks are selling for 33k or lists them marked down to 33k does not mean that they really are. Dealers are going to try to make asmuch money on eachsale as they can, even if it is to their grandmother. They are sure as heck not going to tell a customer that they are dumping their trucks at 26k when they can tell the customer 33k and sell it to that guy for 32 or31k. Then the guy leaves with the truck veryhappy thinking thathe screwed the dealer, when he is the one thatgot screwed.

I know the dealer very well, he has been a friend of the family since I was born, he has personally told me that he is selling the trucks still for 33,000. Yes the sticker price is higher than that, 33,000 is after the price has been negogiated down. Yes he is still making profit on all those trucks even though there negotiated down from 40,000 to 33,000. And to answer if it would **** him off with me trying to sell my truck over one of his new ones, ... it did not, the dealer was pushing for my truck to be the one purchased, he was trying to sell mine. We have mine on his lot right now, asking 27,000. Thats almost to the penny what I owe on it. It is sitting in front of all the other trucks he has there. This dealer here where I live at is the nicest person you will ever meet, he is not like most of the dealers it seems you people have dealt with. So far since its been up there several people have looked at it and already it looks like there may be a buyer. Im telling you, in my area, trucks are still selling pretty decent. People around here are still driving trucks on 44" tires. Ill keep yaw informed.
