I don't have all of it in yet, I have 2 layers of v1se on the rear wall and rear side panels, and 4 layers in the doors (2 on outside skin and 2 on inside skin). the floor gets 1 layer of UE, doors and rear wall gets another layer of v1se, and the roof gets one layer. I noticed a big difference in sound with the doors, much more bass response. A little road noise went away with the rear wall and side panels, but I think the floor will help a LOT when I get it done. I'm hoping it will help with exhaust noise inside as well.
I will be installing the rest of it within a month, I'll put up a review when im done
I am going to install a BUNCH of eDead sound deadening in my truck! I have heard that it improves bass, and that is what I want! I want to do basically what you did....
Definitely.. I'll be ripping the whole interior out and deadening the whole truck. You will get improved bass response from the door speakers if you deaden it properly. Sub bass will be a bit better due to less rattles and more sound being kept inside the vehicle. My main concern now is road/exhaust noise.
Yea... I definately want to get rid of the road/engine noise! It seems like my truck has NO deadening what-so-ever! I just have to wait for the money to come in! haha....
