Default Kicker Component Question

I am going to replace the speakers in my front doors, but I have a question for you guys!

I want to use these component speakers, but my question is..... do I have to use an amp when I go to wire these up?

Thanks in advance!

You don't HAVE to, but it would sure sound a lot better if you could send them 50-75w rms, versus 10-20 from the head unit.

and IMO, you can get much better speakers for $200.

I personally like CDT because of the smooth laid back sound..I cant stand bright/harsh tweeters. Diamond and Elemental Designs have some nice sets as well.

Don't get me wrong, the kickers won't be bad... but I think their SS line would be the only ones I would own.
