Well I might as well post up my feelings. The jl 13w7 is said by many people as the best sql woofer out to date. I have never heard one so I cant really say, but I have heard many others. I will say that if you arent worried about price get the w7 but if you cant afford it there are many woofers out there by unknow brands that will come very close to its performance. Most of the companies have been stated earlier Memphis,RE,Ascendent Audio,Adire,Image Dynamics,Eclipse,OZ Audio,Element Designs,Diamond,Stereo Integiry, TC Sounds, thats all I can think of now. Jst look on audio forums such as sounddomain.com, caraudio.com,car stereos.org and you will find ALOT of info about everything. OOO and I plan on caring about car audio when im older.[:-]

I'm really not insulting your car, because everyone has their own hobby. You hobby happens to be Dodge's, maybe spending time on your stratus, etc.
Other people's hobbies may be mobile electronics... why insult somebody becuase they have a different hobby. Seems like you're on a e-power trip. Get over yourself, it's the internet... kick back... relax... learn... and help.

JL Makes great amps.. not in the same class as Zapco or Genesis but good amps over all & yes I would run them if I worked at a shop that sold them..
For sub & Comp sets.. you can get way more for the money..
JL is a good but for the money.. its just not upto par.. They just know how to put out good adds & permote the products..

Actually there are some amplifier brands that do say they are massive wattage yet they only put out about half or a fourth of what they say. They do not have consistent wattage to the amp. And yes JL audio is one of the brands that are legit amps that put out what their amps say, but they are not the only one. Many of the name brands like: rockford fosgate, sony, alpine.... etc.. What i'm saying is that if i were you i would go with a name brand that you can find in most bestbuys or circuit citys. Dont buy from their unless you have lots of money but if your looking for a good amp go for a true name brand thats been around a while.
