wow ng u just cant post anything without gettin jumped on can u, i totally understand your obsession with this stuff but your word is not the final work k. ill hand it to you im glad as hell to find someone out there who knows this much about stereos but the ego that comes with it is killin it for me man. im sure we all appreciate your opinions and we respect that but they r just that, opinions until u come here with proven credibility not just what u say about urself, i would be calling ather ppl ignorant and that kinda crap. hell i know my fair share of stuff bout this stuff but ill listen to other ppl opinions instead of cuttin them down and calling everything they own crap cause it isnt the kind that i have. different ppl like different kinds of brands, sizes, and setups for their own reasons. just lettin u know as kindly and respectfully as i can bud. l8r

Well i have found that the best subwoofers to get would probably be Crystals, the clearest and loudest subs i have ever heard, and probably the only 15" that sound good. The problem is that they most likely cost more than your car, so the next best thing would be Kicker Comp VRs. For the price no other subs can match them

Kicker Comp VRs? They're good? I've had a lot of problems with them in the past..

I switched to JL's now and I haven't had a problem with ANY JL speakers

you or the installer did something wrong then.

My sister has 2 15 inch kicker comp vr's (around the 2002 series) and they will blow ur nuts out of ur ball bag. (kind of a nasty reference but whatever.)

Kicker is ahead of the game when it comes to car audio.. i mean yeah if u got money for a bad *** system check it out, **** i got 2 old *** kenwood 12's (tornados or something i dont recall) that are hooked up to a 1000 watt amp in the back of my 88 daytona, old and not the best ****.. but man they beat hard.

I'm new to this forum and i don't own a dodge but i was doing a search for LMT tonight and this forum popped up. As i started reading i came across the worst possible statement.."JL is the best hands down". Are you kidding me? Now i dont expect anyone to really care about what i say but i figured i would put in my .02. Anyways JL is a very reputable company, always willing to help their customers out and they have some very nice subs but are not the best. I will just name a few off the top off my head but forgive me if i forget a few its 3am and i am 2 beers away from finishing this twelve pack. Lets see Digital Designs 9900s one of the best built subs out there they can actually handle a wall socket for 30mins without frying and with 33mm of linear travel and 76mm of xmech a spl monster, Image Dynamics IDMax one of the tightest sounding subs on the market and can also get very loud, RE XXX, RE MT, Ascendant Audio Avalanche (which i own a single 18) , Soundsplinter RL-p and the soon to be Soundsplinter RL-s which will use the LMT, Incriminator Audio Death Penalty, Adire Brahma, Eclipse TI Pro. Thats all i can think off and for the majority of those speakers will out perform a w7 all day and most will cost a fraction except for the digital designs 9900s that run 1200+.
