I bought a Kenwood amp.,KAC8103D, which has speaker level inputs. I want to install the amp and one sub, but keep the stock head unit. How do I connect the amp using speaker level inputs?

 

Responded to your pm. You need to splice a wire into the speaker wires usually the rear speaker wires are used then connect them to the harness for the amp and plug the harness into the square looking plug on the amp.

Did you buy it from Crutchfield? Give them a call and see whats up. I called them to see if it included one since I couldn't find what came with it on the website and they told me it should have come with it. If not try and find one on eBay or just buy a Line output converter if you can't.

I have one I used in my truck even though my amp had speaker level inputs. The only reason I used it was because it was left in my truck when I got it and already hooked up. I wouldn't have bought one if I hadn't had it. After I put my Alpine H/U in I ran RCA's to the amp instead. On my 4 channel amp I've always run RCA's.

Don't know what happened to yours then. Did you get one from the outlet? Atleast they are shipping it out for you. Most of my stereo stuff if not all other than speaker wire in both of my cars has come from Crutchfield they are usually great to deal with.
