After realizing this car show season I need some storage room for the cleaning supplies. So I am going with a single TREO TSX 12" dual 4ohm. Parallel them to get 2 ohms. Keeping the amps where they are. Using magnetic catches to keep the lid on. Box is going to have 1.33ft3. Treo recommends 1.25ft3 + .08ft3 for speaker displacement. Going to have to cut down the amp cover 5.5" to get the new box to fit. Here are some pics of the progress. The box is made of .75" mdf

part 2: TREO recommends 1.25(box area) + .08ft3(speaker displacement)=1.33ft3. Put in the divider and repaired the wood split (not shown).
Things to be completed
1) speaker area top and mounting the speaker with wiring it up.
2) storage area lid with magnetic catches to keep it held down, but easily removed
3) lip for the front side of the amp cover to rest on
4) cut the amp cover lid
5) Carpet everything and then cut the seams of the storage area lid and the joint of the sub box/amp rack.
6) Center the amps in the area.
7) Lexan window in the amp cover. Going to skip the fans and LED bar. Never showed the car at night, so it is pretty much a waste. Going to leave the amp cover's rear (towards the hatch) wall off. Should provide enough cooling.
8) Sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
Hopefully have it done by tommorrow (weds) for the weekly car show. All but the lexan window that is. My luck they will have stopped the show.

Semi-Finished!!! Just have to vacumn and find a better place to take the pic. Sounds ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't compare it to the Alpines, different class of speakers. The guys from Metro Audio Dynamics were even impressed.
$175 speaker(heavy discount, normally $250), $16 wood, $12 carpet, $3 sealant, $3 screws and $2 glue = $211

ok i guess im acting like a kid with a new toy, but I think I outdid myself this time. Other than a rear DVD screen, I am calling it done! Here is a retouched niteshot. I couldnt find my tripod to take the long shot, so there is some blurr. Hmmm going to have to move the "naked lady" to even it out abit.
