BT wont pair, phone can not see it - HFM Update?

Default BT wont pair, phone can not see it - HFM Update?

2013 SXT Plus w 8.4N RB5

I have been experiencing my BT dropping out from time to time and this week it just would not pair. I have done my research and know this is a known issue and there is a HFM (hands free module) update to correct this issue.
I found the test instructions on another forum and basically if it resets after a 10 min battery disconnect it can be updated, if not it must be replaced.

My Dealer couldn't find their butt in the bathroom and when I brought this up they of course say they have no TSB or any other info, as well as since I reset the unit by disconnecting the battery they can not confirm the issue.

I do not want the available Radio or Nav update to CTP14, I just want the HFM update. They of course wanted to run those updates and told me that the radio update "should fix things".

If you have had this done or have access, could someone tell me the operation number or TSB number from your invoice or if your a tech, from the list at work?

SXT what? Lots of Dodge vehicles have the SXT trim.

Bump....
Still having the issue but can not recreate it at the dealership.
If anyone has any sort of TSB info or could look it would be greatly appreciated.
2013 Charger SXT Plus with 8.4N.

Or if there is a place I can look up a TSB???

May want to try posting in the Charger section. Not a lot of folks visit this section on a regular basis.

Have the dealer check their Tech Tips (TT9002108)-Hands Free Module (HFM)-Bluetooth Phone Pairing. This is a procedure the dealer performs to confirm compatibility with HFM.

Thank you very much. As the system is working correctly today I am sure it will be Friday when I go in to the dealer. I know it is frustrating for them too but sometimes I do not think they understand that I would not be there if there was not an issue.

Thank You. It looks like I have an answer, only wish I could rear the TSB and see if it is applicable.

Well it turns out the the Tech Tips is "how to pair a phone". So I appreciate the time but the answer was not relevant in any way. I clearly stated that the phone would pair but would drop the phone and some days not pair with any phone. So 2 hours on a day off wasted at the dealership and wasted the tech's time too.
I guess it will be another case of wait until it fails completely befor it will be taken care of. CSI score 1 - 10? 1
