i was a little confused about how the crutchfield site has there wiring diagram... tell me if the way i plan to do it will work out right. if you understand it lol

This gets word complicated fast.
First the picture. The speakers dual coils are wired in series so each speaker is an 8 ohm speaker. Then those TWO speakers are wired in parrallal for the 4 ohm single channel NOTE this is hooked to only one channel so you need 4 of those speakers. You could call this the right channel. The left channel would look just like it only to the left.
You have yours wired in series also so they each are 8 ohm speakers. But your using 2 speakers on 2 channels not 4 speakers on 2 channels. ( or 2 speakers on a single channel).
Assuming the right half of the amp is the right channel you have one single speaker at 8 ohms per channel. This won't hurt anything except you lose some power.
It sounds like you have the wrong speakers. 2 ohm dual voice coils is what you need for 2 speakers on 2 channels at 4 ohms (The coils are also wired in series = 4 ohms). OR you need a 4 channel amp OR you need one more amp - which is like having a 4 channel amp.
If you had normal single voice coils at 4 ohms your wiring would be much simpler. For 2 channels using 2 speakers that is.

ok i have a 2 channel amp. my subs are 4 ohm so im guessing 2ohm per voice coil since they are dual voice coils. now your saying the best way to wire it is parallel instead of series. so i made this diagram let me know if its right or not. sorry if im a bother im just tryin to learn how to do this right since its my first time and i prefer to not have to use my insurance before i even get to hear them in my car lol (if wiring them wrong would blow them out)

Horrible amp...but oh well.
Those Infinity speakers are Dual 4ohm subwoofers.
Therefore, if running off of a 2-channel amplifier...all you have to do is:
Combine both positives and both negatives from one sub, hook the combined wires up to their respective terminal on one channel of the two channel amplifier. Now do the same to the second sub for the remaining channel of the 2 channel amplifier.
A 2 channel amplifier will put out rated power @2ohms per channel...which is how you will be running it.
