Default sirius with uconnect

I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500. I have factory uconnect and just installed factory sirius but there is only one input on the back of head unit ( 6 disk in dash) so I am only able to plug in the uconnect or the sirius but not both does anyone have a idea how I can get them both to work.

Thanks

I would check the dealer to see if they have a splitter cable or device that connects into the radio and then have a dual port to support both the uconnect and sirius.

Well the dealer got back in touch with DC and they are sending a multiplexor and y cable. I think this should work.

Will let you know what happens when the parts come in.

dodgeum05, could you post those p/n's? I have the same situation from the inverse -- I'm taking the plunge to install the factory Uconnect system, but nowhere to connect the 10-pin C2 connector for UConnect on the radio/changer because the Sirius unit is already plugged in there.

Just curious, do prompts for the Uconnect appear on your radio display, or where?

Sorry that I am not going to be of much help because when I was having mine done the dealer paid for the extra parts because they said it could be done and then when they got into the job it took more parts then originally thought.

I live in Washington State but I will give you the name and number of the dealer and also the contact there and maybe your dealer can call and you will be on your way.
