would anyone except me buy this car?

Most V8 OHC engines are very wide and tall and do not always fit in a car platform. Ever looked at a 4.6L T-Bird or Cougar? Major PITA just to remove a valve cover because it is against the shock tower.
I do not know off hand the differences in dimensions between the HEMI and 4.7 but I am pretty sure that the 4.7 is probably taller and wider since a 4.6L Ford intake can be adapted to fit.

I've been making this comment for many years, that Dodge or Chrysler needed a coupe with a performance setup that was relatively cheap. The Stratus R/T coupe would have been a great car but it was underpowered. 3.0L V6, 5spd, FWD, and only 200hp/205ftlbs torque.
Imagine the car with a 4.0L V6 and 300hp, would have had my money.
