"New" Charger
Do you think the new Charger will be that far removed from the current iteration? Camo spy shots from Car and Driver suggest that besides a little rounding off of the current body that not much else will change. Smart move or no?
In my opinion the new Chargers that seem to sell reasonably well, would sell in much greater numbers if they went back to the drawing board as far as the polarizing looks of the body is concerned. The front end belongs on a truck and the c-pillar transition at the rear quarter glass is WRONG. I for one still hate it and have from the beginning especially after having seen the '90s concept which was sleek and very sexy. With some not very big cosmetic changes this could be one of the hottest sellers in the mid-full size sedan market. While they are at it why don't they throw in a few cues from the original. Tail lights are easy, side scallops (nicely done) are also and completely overhaul that butt ugly front grill. I'm not saying make it completely retro but damn it clean it up a bit and you'll have a hit on your hands!
Am I in the minority here or do most of you feel the same?

Looks to me like they changed the taillights to the throwback style charger, including squaring off the rear pillar into the trunk...IMO theyre off to a good start. Now the front end design isnt bad I think the main problem it has is the tp of the hood sticks over the bottom of the grille at a 80 degree angle and looks here to be flattened quite a bit. But until they take off the jacket we will never know but I think this could be a good lookin model. Its true the prototype looked great but there were still ppl complaining of the 4dr look now its not as big a deal but in this market the mucscle car segment cant deal with much more then one 2dr.
Dodge needed a peppy sedan and that's what you got. Sometimes I look at a charger and think," Damn, that's sexy", and other times I think," Wow, look at that ugly pile of metal". While many people don't like the fact that it's a four door car, I can kinda see why and as I said, sometimes like it. Things change and needs/wants change. How many husbands with kids could convince their wife into letting them get a two door with two kids to haul around as well? Anyone who has ever messed with kids and trying to fold a seat forward and attempt to install a car seat knows what I'm talking about.

The front look like a 300 and the back end look like the avenger. And also agree, they need to go back to the two doors, not four doors. Thats why you have the 300 and the avenger.
I really don't have a problem with it being a four door. It's just the overall body design. Some of todays four doors are really sleek and sharp and without looking closely can't be distinguished from a two door. The 90s concept was a four door with the profile of a two door.
