The end of the Cummins
Neons DO NOT, come with power rear windows. PERIOD. If, the SRT4 also out performs everything in its class by a long shot, and takes alot of light away from the big racer compacts like the Evo and STI.
SRT4 Is still under warranty with stage 2, and will leave all those AWDs in the DUST with ease with such an upgrade.
When the Imports are modified, warranty is gone. and you have spent MUCH More. I REALLY Like the Evo, but its just not worth it.

Ever notice what company work trucks are? Usually by far ford. I like dodge, and think the cummins is a great motor, but the several fords that we have owned on the farm have held up extremely well! Most farmers drive fords also, then chevy(if not a diesel) and last dodge. The transmission on our fords are all original and never been rebuilt, while the dodges are constantly going out, then out again, then again, and once more for sh#ts and giggles, all by 100,000 miles. I would take the dodge, just not for a real work truck, Sorry. Down on the farm, trucks get abused, and the fords seem to handle it.
are these the 7.3 PSD's? they were very good engines and held up VERY well. but when Ford went to the 6.oh-no thats when the problems started. from what I'm hearing theres a 50% return rate for something to be done to the engine.
now I'm not knocking ford. the frames are tough, and the drive lines are great. but the engine is the acheles heal for these trucks.
the Dodges you have peobably have the old transmission before the 47RE. even I would admit it was a slushbox of neutrals. the 47RE is a vast improvement and the 48RE is much better. but that seems to be where Dodge has their problems.

I've heard the same, except that Ford may be getting Cummins once their contract is done. I think its a good thing. Mercedes has been making diesels for a long time, and besides the engine in the Ram, the rest of the Cummins engines are no hell.
