Fiat had literally nothing to do with it...

It looks GREAT very good mix of what it used to look like and some new styling.

+1 The normal product cycles dictate a 2 year finalized design to production time frame so they can engineer the tooling, stamps presses, etc. Any FIAT design ideas aren't in clay model stage yet. It looks alot better in the full shots than the teasers they were putting out. I like it too. The last design just looked too big and bulky. That looks alot cleaner and sleeker.

In my bias opinion, it looks a world better than the previous model. The new Grand Cherokee and the Durango alike both look like they are the next generation design from the late 90s models, as though they were in a time warp and we are now getting what would have been had the merger never happened. Although I prefer the 1st gen Durango's design the best, this is still a good looking vehicle in my bias opinion.

Basicly a dodge branded Jeep grand Cherokee. Looks near identical.
