Dodge Demon Concept - Geneva Debut
Guys, judge the car on the merits of the car! The name won't matter if the car lives up to the standards we set for it! I sell Dodge products and have owned over 20 classic mopars in the last 30 years. I've bought them because of the performance, the looks, even the color but never because of the name! I'll never forget the customer that I had who insisted the new charger was a piece of junk because "it wasn't a Charger". I told him that DCX thought he was right and they decided that a name change was in order. They were going to call the car the new Dart! Immediately he replied "Thats a car I'll buy!" So I went into our parts department, ordered the old "Dart" nameplate, pasted them on a 2007 Charger and sold him his DART!
Today's cars are the embodiment of TODAY not the ghosts of yesterday. They can carry on heritage names if they want to but unless the car is the direct replacement for the previous generation vehicle (Mustang), the name has no real meaning. Long live the Demon, Dart, Monaco, Polara, Challenger, Charger, Coronet and every other name Chrysler used in the 70's. Those cars have a place in history. Those names were nothing more then words in an encyclopedia or dictionary long before Chrysler ever decided to use them to reference a car - - and they will be for a long time after Chrysler isgone.

I like the name Demon and I like the car better than the Razor. I just hope Chrysler is smart enough to build it and smart enough to provide us with variations of it like a coupe and SRT4 version to be a true replacement of the Neon.

really if they made this with a less ****ty interior i would be all over it. i like that color too. my problem with the interior is the seats look uncomfortable amd like they are made with ****ty material. the radio isnt a chrysler radio. if it had mygig and nice seats i would highly consider it expecially at that price.
You've got a point there Nick. Those seats do look uncomfortable; however, that can be fixed. Since this is just a concept, I wouldn't expect them to have that specific radio. They would probably fix that part.
