I had that cam in my 69 Road Runner years ago. Here's a link to some of Mopars old school cams.

Back in the day you could get the 383 hi po camshaft from Direct Connection for $33.00. Not a bad deal to hop up a 361 or two barrel 383. The Purple Shaft cams wern't that expensive either but the quality control was typical Chrysler. Specs and timing varied widely. When Lee Iacoca took over prices started to climb and aftermarket cams became a better value. Cam technology has come a long way since the Purple Shafts cams were made. Unless it was dirt cheap I'd run something else.
I was just looking at the numbers to get a custom grind. it's what a friend has in his dart and it is running good. I have basically the same set up in my 74 Roadrunner, I just have 3 2bbl instead of a double pumper. I still have the stock cam in it (77 fury) and it keeps flooding out.
good cam (originally designed by COMP in their very early days for Direct Connection), but make sure that your intake matches. This cam makes power at HIGH RPM! If you want to cruise the streets around 3000, go with the .474 !!
