Charger SRT8 Questions
Yea I think its by design my parents have one I don't drive it much but I have noticed it even from the drivers seat. One thing I think somewhat causes it is the fact that there is no throttle cable! The gas is controlled completely electrically through sensors and the computer I think thats why sometimes theres a delay in response. Also in neutral there is a rev limiter anyway i don't remember the rpm but i think its around 4000. thats so you cant be to hard on it and possibly blow it up.
If you don't think the car is performing as it should, disconnect the battery for at least half and hour then reconnect it. That way the computer forgets about the driving habits. And you get to reprogram it by driving the car. If that doesn't fix it, back to the dealer, and big complaints, you bought a race car and want it to perform like one.

This is a common problem with cars in general. You love the loud exhaust cruising around, but hate it on trips. Sorry, there is no perfect way to fix this... if you want it LOUD you have to put up with interior NOISE.

Well, disconnecting the battery doesn't change anything unless it is disconnected for days on end. There is a backup system that stores information in case your battery dies.
If you want to reset the adaptives, there is one very simple way to do it: With the car off, pull fuse 11 for 15 seconds. Re-install and you're good. It resets everything for you.
After ANY AND ALL mods installed pull fuse 11.
