Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

At what temp was your charger at? I have seen SRT-8's dyno at over 380HP bone stockbut the temp gauge reading under 100 degree's.
Please don't dyno your cars at under 100 degrees. Minimal operating temperatures for safe operation at WOT is 140 degrees. This is why if you don't warm your car up before driving you throw codes.

Our heatsoak sets in at precisely 190 degrees. Get a 180 degree thermostat, run a fan mod and you'll easily stay out of heatsoak. At 190 we lose about 20hp.

I have a month old 2007 charger srt8 I have the airaid intake on it I just put the jba exhaust system on it it sounds nice on the outside but the cabin noise is awful when you get on it or crusing has anyone put anyother exhaustson this car the price was good noise inside is bad. I am a girl be easy.
The least droning systems seem to be the Zoomers from what I've seen posted over the years.

You could also just dynamat under the carpeting on your floor (whole cabin) and your trunk. Drone is simply resonance transfered from the mufflers to the body (floorboard on our cars) and dynamat can reduce these effects.

This is a common problem with cars in general. You love the loud exhaust cruising around, but hate it on trips. Sorry, there is no perfect way to fix this... if you want it LOUD you have to put up with interior NOISE.

You want loud?

Here's my car with my electric cutouts open. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIcpd...39%26page%3D52

Well I was told it was safe from a guy that has dyno'd over 4 of his own cars his slowest of the four cars ran a 12.4 at the track Well he told that the best temp is when your car is warm enough to were your car is idleing at its normal RPM. For the R/T its stock idle is 650RPM I think I tested at what temp my car is at when its at that idle and I think it was just over 100

Well, I'd take the advice of an SRT Engineer before a "random car guy", and the collective knowledge of over 8000 LX owners. (Obviously not on this forum)

He may know cars in general, but unless he is specifically knowledgeable on OUR very finicky cars... I'll stick to what I know. And I dyno mine quite often.

06MNRT,
Yes, it is loud! Nice, but for a long trip, I'd have to have a quieter car... I've had loud in the past and too bad there wasn't a switch for LOUD and quiet... LOL.

By the way, I saw in one of your earlier posts that you said there was no chip that worked well in the 6.1 -- have you tried B&G's stage II module? They claim a third party dyno'd a 6.1 with their Stage II module and got 30 HP and 30 foot pounds additional boost.

That's why I really love having the switch... from loud to virtually silent in less than 3 seconds!

Yes there is a minor tune available from B&G that not only improves certain performance parameters, but has also been able to show a 30hp gain. Sadly though still no true air/fuel adjustments which is what we need the most.

Just joining, would like to say "Hi" to everyone.
I just got my '07 Superbee in May and absolutely love it!

How long has anyone made it before having to replace factory tires?
I'm trying to take it easy, but how can you with this machine.
