Which Truck to get for about $15-25k
Hi I'm New to this website and I have always been a Ram Fanatic ever since my father owned one when i was a little kid. Its mid winter and sucks without a truck. The snow doesnt really help out.. I live 15 miles out of town and have a 10 acres yard that is bordered by a river.. we live in the red river valley which has very low ground levels and we get flooded out every spring it doesnt get the house... but the roads ARE HORRIBLE. and we do pull our fourwheelers and other farm equiptment to places to get serviced or have fun driving them.. Now the whole point of this Thread is to be certain which truck i should get. Cause a car is NOT an option. 1. Dodge Ram 1500 or 2. Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. Im leaning towards the 2500 but diesel prices are about 30-50 cents higher. Soo what should i Do? Please help me. Comments and suggestions are very Appreciated!
Gasoline unleaded: $2.85 a gallon
Diesel: $3.25 a gallon.
I am probably driving 50 miles on a regular day. But I am looking for power and not much for speed but also looking to not Spend a lot of money. Still leaning towards the 2500 diesel. Need some help Finalizing my choice. Thank you!

I agree with DT75. The 2500/3500 Rams are sick trucks. The 1500 is too much like a car. I own both and stopped driving the 1500 6 months ago out of sheer spite for it. Diesel prices are phucked right now, but wait until fuel prices spike again. Diesel should be more stable over the long run, if history is any indication.

Well i would get the Diesel but what if we dont do much pulling and mostly Free Driving. We will be pulling but not as much free driving. And Idk if I can afford for diesel how much i drive a day. I drive about 50-70 miles a day. But Id keep the truck tell she dies. and I know diesel would be a better Investment but still any Suggestions?
