Nope, There is either a hairline crack in the lens that you can't see or the seal is bad between the lens and body of the light.

My 07 sxt had the issue in the left rear. I have seen a lot of 07s with the left tail light having condensation. The left side was manufactured by a different supplier than the right. I got mine replaced under factory warranty before it expired, which ran out in April 2010.

DISCUSSION:
Some customers may report that on occasion, vehicle exterior lamp assemblies are fogged
with a light layer of condensation on the inside of the lenses. This may be reported after
the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operating temperature, turned off, and
then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a car wash). Lens
fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been
parked outside overnight (i.e., a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). This will
usually clear as atmospheric conditions change to allow the condensation to change back
into a vapor. Turning the lamps on will usually accelerate this process.
A lamp that has large amounts of water droplets visible on most internal surfaces indicates
a problem with the lamp sealing that has allowed water to enter the lamp. In this instance,
the customer is likely to report that moisture in the lamp is always present and never
disappears. A lamp that exhibits internal moisture permanently should be replaced.

Default Fixed my 2007 Dodge Caliber's tail light leak

I fixed my Caliber's tail light assembly by silicone sealing it around the outside. The link goes to my blog, where I show pictures of how I did it. Been six month's since, no more fish tank look!

Eventually the "Lamp Out" will require replacing the $15 grey lamp holder which contains a circuit board that will short out due to the water.

My 2010 Dodge Caliber has water leaks (floorboards are wet) and the right rear taillight looks like a fishbowl. The taillight has been repaired but still collects moisture. My car is in the shop for the 3rd day now trying to fix the manufacturing defect water leak issue. I think Chrystler should pay for this repair.

Hi Saundrar,

I'm sorry to hear about the water leak you're experiencing. Since your basic factory warranty has expired, do you have an extended warranty on your vehicle that might cover the repair?
