I would like to know how much weight the weight of a 2011 dodge caliber can safely hold without a roof rack? I am taking a road trip and would like to buy a roof luggage carrier but need to know if this will damage my car?

Those are usually for vehicles with the luggage rack on the vehicle.
I have no info handy on that. Have you checked thru the owners manual? It may have some info in there.
