Default Oil sensor issues

Hey guys, I am new to the site and I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have a 07 caliber, 1.8 motor with cvt tranny and about 124 thousand miles on it. The oil light sensor keeps flashing and beeping after driving for about 15 min under 50. It happens mostly when i begin to slow down and accelerate. Has anyone experience this before?

Welcome aboard.
I haven't personally had this issue. It could be as simple as a bad oil pressure switch or as serious as a low oil pressure problem.
If you have access to a reap pressure gauge, I would hook it up and watch the pressure.
You could also just buy a new switch and see if the problem goes away.

Are there any unusual engine noises?
