I've read that people are waiting for SXT's. That's strange, every dealership in a major city here have SXT's. There not hard to find at all.

 

I don't know about other areas of the nation, but Southern California has plenty of SXT's. One dealer has about 50 of them and another dealer has about 20 of them. The R/T's I can find here in Red or Black or White or Blue, but I cannot find one in Sunburst Orange. I have ordered an R/T in Orange that I am waiting on.

 

R/T's are nowhere to be found here. Except one dealership had a Sunburst Orange one and sold it right away. They were alotted one because most of their inventory was destroyed by hail.

I saw that one, but it is not very well equipped.

I actually found one in San Jose which is about 7 hours away, but they would not deal with me on it.

I ordered one last week and the dealer is giving it to me at invoice. Hopefully it will come in.

It is for my wife. She wants MusicGate, Sunroof, Leather (so it won't have the orange inserts), Driver Convenience package.

She thinks it is for her, but when they are available, I will swap the hood for the SRT hood, and put an exhaust on it and some wheels and tires. They seem like a fun car. I know they are not built for speed, but I have a 2003 Ram 1500 with a few goodies that is fast enough, but sucks gas like crazy.

But I like my orange inserts
There were some late 60's/early 70's Mopars with color keyed interiors.

 

I love the look of the Orange Inserts, but if you saw my wifes current truck and see what our kids do, I don't think the orange inserts will look orange for long. My wife wanted to put on seat covers immediately when we got it if it had the orange inserts, so I figured why not just get the leather. I wish they had the option on the R/T to get the Gray Cloth seats, but my dealer said it either came with orange inserts or you had to get leather.

If it was my car, I would get the Orange Inserts, they look awesome!!!

Oh, also my wife wants the windows tinted asap. I think they will look awesome with the orange car and match well with the black window pillars

One of my friends keeps trying to talk me into tinting ours. Would look good, I bet.

 

Here is just a very quick look at your Caliber with Window Tint. I did it real fast so it doesn't look too good, but you get the point.
