Myquestion isI got a code of P0473 from my code scanner which says its a Transmission Control Clutch Circuit Electrical so I called my local Dodge dealer and the told me I needed to buy a TCC (Transmission Control Solenoid) so i bought it and before I waste the time installing it did I get the right part for that code?????

Yes you did. You will need to remove the valve body to replace it. may as well replace the filter and gasket while you are in there.

ATF3 is OK for a '99. Valvoline also make ATF4 now which is a lot less expensive than Mopar. 4.5qts is correct. The remainder is in the torque converterand won't flow out when you drop the pan.

I would stay away from the flushing (stirs up dirt and could be "borrowing trouble"). You won't find flushing mentioned as part of the maintenance program in your Owners Manual. A local transmission shop, I deal with here, avoids it completely and recommends against it. They say if you insist on getting a flush, also insist of the replacement of the extremely dirty filter the flush creates, some "flush" shops don't replace the filter.
As to transmission fluid, ATF+4 is designed to be a longer lasting fluid and to be "backwards" compatible with ATF+3, ATF+2, etc. Castrol makes an ATF+4 under license with Chrysler, and an ATF+3 compatible fluid as well. They are available at the local Wal-Mart here.

Ck fuse 12 in the junction block or fuse 13 in the PDC. But ck the brake lite switch for power with a test lite. If you have power, replace the brake lite switch.
