Speed/Speedometer sensor??

Default Speed/Speedometer sensor??

I have a 2001 grnd caravan (3.3 w/4spd auto)and the speedo does not work, itried a new instument cluster(used) but it did not work. i tested the cluster in another van and itand original work ok. someone suggested the speed/speedometer sensor on the trans but where is it located and is it easy to remove? thanks for any help. joe

there is an input and output. Both are on the front of the trans above the solenoid pack.

The input turbine sensor is closes to the torque converter or bell housing and the output is near the end of the transmission. You will need a 1 inch socket.
