I have a solution to 1 of the problems.

on the hvac unit hold the following buttons

turn the car to the run position but do not start
hold the top left button the bottom left button(corner button) and the far right button for about 30sec. A self test should run and hopfully clear the lights for you.

Problem 2 ck your IOD fuse and the other fuses too. The IOD fuse are for the door locks, radio, and interior lites.
