My wife drives a 2002 dodge caravan se, when she brakes or coast down to about 30 mph the van seems to jump. It has about 77k. Do you think the transmission is going and is there any other way to tell thats what the problem is...Could it be low on transmission fluid??? Is this an expensive fix... any help would be greatly appreciated...

Have you ck the fluid? and isthe ck engine lite on? You can try a service 1st and see if that helps, also there a flash update on the tcm for a 2-1 down shift. Ck with the dealer on the flash, it maybe coverd under or emission waranty.
