Default 98 Gr Caravan Trouble Codes - suggestions?

2 weeks ago I replaced the transmission shift solenoid because it was leaking badly. Since the replacement, no leaks and van has been running great... as good as I can ever recall.... until today. Wife said it lurched badly on the highway and the service engine light came on. Scanned it with an OBDII scanner and I have
P01776, P0734, P0700

Suggestions?

'98 Gr Caravan Sport SE, 3rd transmission.

P1776 LR latched in low, P0734 gear ratio error in 4th gear. P0700 just to let you know you have transmission codes. NO its not a 3 speed, he stated this is their 3rd transmission. You need to have a scanner to perform a clutch test and ck CVI's.

If you have gone thru 3 transmissions, either you are doing something wrong or you have some pretty crappy rebuilders or you're buying junkyard transmissions.your codes are related to the shifting control. But the only way to determine the problem is with a proper scanner (as stated) and having someone that knows how to determine (diagnose) the problem, cause, and correction

Thanks Master Tech, your info is useful as usual.

92dak5.24x4 - I have seen other posts by you...why do you even post- just to increase your count?. You added nothing that wasn't already stated and you make assumptions that aren't valid. The first and second transmissions were replaced under warranty from 2 different dealers in 2 different states. The third one is now 2 months out of warranty and Chrysler just says "sorry." So I am doing what I can to try to squeeze a little more life out of it without putting a fortune (which I don't have) into it, so go pound, pal.

I guess if you call 11 years a short period of time, yeah.. but my understanding is that these transmissions have a history, pre 2005. I'm not a mechanic and don't pretend to be- I am just a father of 3 and i can't afford to pay the dealer for every single hiccup and burp that our cars have, so I do what I can and I am willing to spend whatever of my own time I need to in order to save 95/hr labor rates from the local dodge stealer.

As for the solenoid, yeah maybe the one I just put in was bad too, I guess it happens. Everything was good for 2 weeks and then the surge yesterday, the MIL and the codes appeared.

I cleared the codes and drove for about an hour last night and nothing has returned. I am going to double check the electrical connector on it (the solenoid pack) because as I was scouring the net for more info last night I noticed someone mentioned that and it made me remember that I did have a 'slight' problem getting that connected on the new one... I couldn't find where I had put down the 8mm socket , was rushing because it was getting dark and wound up using a wrench.. maybe, just maybe it didn't seat properly, surely it wasn't torqued to spec. I forgot all about that when everything seemed fine, initially.

Anyway my apologies to the group if I was out of line, this van is just been so incredibly frustrating.

We have seen this alot.If you just replaced the solenoid pack and have a P1776,replaced the pack again,it's the number one cause of this code.
