Default Torque Converter

Helo. I am new to this Forum. I live in Slovenia (Europe), have Dodge Caravan 3,8 automatic 1996. AT is very rare in Europe, but I love it.

Now the problem:

Can You tell me, what size and position must be the iron sensor plate on the Torque Converter. Mine is broken.... I can wld a new one, but dont know the measure.

And here is the cause of my problem:

Spider gear shaft - went out and make a damage to the diff housing. It is allready repaired:

zaskrbljen , šele svoj slovenski ni prav....to zelo obiskovan kraj hoteti ne opus... črpati pečatni vosek zunanja stran morati ne življati poljuben zvariti.... obroč iz brona, zlata ali železa spreobračevalec morati obstati nadomestiti...vi should nadomestiti upogniti plosča ( čutilen plosča ) če ono je škoda

Did you tell him, he needs a new trans case or a reman trans?

Basicly I said the welding was JUNK where the pump seals is. Now I've welded cases worse than that but I have access to machining equipment to true the pump seal surface

Thanks. Of course, we will resurface the Pump seal surface. The picture was made just after welding.

It is not easy to get a new (used) Torque converter here.... It is cheaper to buy another car...

Can someone post a picture of a Torque Converter - with a (sensor) metall plate on its housing.

You cannot use that torque converter. and there is NO sensor plate on it!!! je ne čutilen plosča naprej obroč iz brona, zlata ali železa spreobračevalecspreobračevalec je slabše blago

There is a motor RPM sensor on the Bell housing, but it "counts" holes on the outer of the flex plate.

AT now works great (no Oil leak), shifts OK...

Yes, that is the trigger wheel which is attached to a part called a flex plate
