Heater stopped working last night
Coming back to Memphis from Mardi Gras last night I noticed the heater wasn't blowing hot anymore. The engine temp never wavered at all. The AC seemed to still kick in- Any thoughts on what it could be?

Is there anything coming out of the vent? If its not blowing on any speeds, maybe the motor is no good. If its blowing something out of the vents, then ck the coolant level.
normal '05 coolant leak areas are the water pump, look from the rear of the motor from underneith, the rear heater lines were recalled for a leak so if the recall was done, not an issue, check the radiator, some issues with tank seem leaks.
I just learned of the recall on the heater hose clamps undernieth so they have not been dealt with. Now as I write this I do recall a couple of weeks ago when my wife parked on our slightly sloped driveway overnight there was a long wet spot (3-4 feet) under it. This happened twice and so when I changed the oil last I looked and looked and felt and touched everywhere it could puddle and found nothing. I'm not even sure where under the van it was leaking from (front, rear, drivers, passenger side) I just noticed it after the van was moved. I kept my eye on the garage floor for days afterward but it never leaked again. Apparently parking on a slight slope allows something to leak from somewhere. I will check the rad seams and pump area. The van has 106k on it now.

Van is at the dealership today to get hose recall taken care of. It was leaking under the right rear. They told me the water pump is also leaking so i guess I'll be replacing that and the thermostat tonight. Can anybody tell me if I need to get 1 or 2 gallons of the Dexcool antifreeze?
Thanks, Dan

It takes 2 gallons of coolant, get it premixed or buy distilled water to mix it with, yes it does matter.
