ok so i have a 97 Grand Caravan LE with the 3.8 would not start for the life of me bunch of new parts then i decide to check the timing chain as the guy i got it from said he had to do majior tranny/transaxel work because it shot a gear well i pull the timing cover off and low and behold the timing is jacked up so when i go to replace it with the crankshaft at tdc on cyc 1 do i just need to mach up the marks or will i need to set the cam aswell? and if so how would i go about that?
